WHEN SHOULD I COLLECT MY WEDDING DRESS?You are free to collect your wedding dress whenever you like after your gown has arrived, however, most Brides prefer to leave their dress with us for as long as possible to ensure it's kept safe and secret. Your dress is fully insured with us and we will arrange a suitable time for you to collect that works for you.
-
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?A strapless bra and nude underwear is always preferable but not essential. We do provide heels to wear when trying on the dresses but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. The most important thing is to come along with an open mind and a couple of people who you trust, we will sort the rest x

WHAT IF I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT?Although we think all our Brides are beautiful as they are, we understand that a lot of Brides have a weight goal in mind for their wedding day. This is absolutely not a problem, however please ensure you speak to your bridal stylist about this when purchasing your dress so we can ensure that we take this into consideration when ordering the correct gown size for you. We can always alter up or down a dress size within reason.
-
DO YOU OFFER A BESPOKE BRIDAL SERVICE?We often create bespoke lace overlays and tops for our Brides which offer them a different look from day to evening. Have a chat with your bridal stylist at your appointment if this is something you'd like and we'll be sure to accommodate you.
-
DO I HAVE TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?Yes Please! We run on an appointment only basis to ensure we provide the best customer service for each of our Brides with exclusive use of the boutique and the full attention of our expertly trained stylists. To book an appointment please email info@prettywhitedress.net or book on our online booking system

WHAT IF MY DRESS NEEDS ALTERING?It probably will. We offer an exclusive alterations package for each of our Brides at time of purchase which includes all fittings and alterations needed until you are completely satisfied with your dress. This is charged at £300 and all our fittings are done in house by our specialist design and manufacture team. You are however, more than welcome to source your own alterations elsewhere. Please note; design changes (For example change of neckline or adding sleeves) are an additional cost.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OF MY FAVOURITE DRESS?Choosing your wedding dress is a highly emotive decision. How many times have we untagged ourselves out of unflattering photos on social media. You can go out looking and feeling amazing only to be crushed when you catch a glimpse of yourself at a bad angle or in unflattering lighting. This is absolutely the same thing (if not worse) when trying on your wedding dress. Remember the gowns you are trying are sample dresses and will most likely be too long and pinned in places. For this reason, we ask Brides to remember how they feel when they're in the dress. There are plenty of professional shots of your favourite gowns online to help remind yourself of specific detailing.
-
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING WITH ME?We recommend you bring 2 or 3 guests along that you really trust. As our boutique is smaller, we can comfortably seat 3 guests. Although it seems like a nice idea to invite your entire bridal party/girl friends, in reality it ends up being a very stressful affair with too many opinions flying around and the focus moving away from YOU! Remember you can always book follow up appointments to show your chosen dress to other people who weren't at your original appointment.
-
WHAT IS THE ORDER PROCESS?We require a minimum 8 month lead time to ensure your dress is ready for your wedding date. (Don't worry if your wedding is sooner than this, we can always do rush cuts for an additional charge or sell you a sample gown) Once you have chosen your dress we will measure you to ensure we order the correct sized gown for you. We take a 50% non refundable deposit at the time of order and the remaining balance is payable at the first fitting (usually 6-8wks before the wedding date)
